Sorry that this post is a day late and quite short, but I got back from a relaxing break in Bournemouth yesterday, as one of my best friends lives down there. I had a lovely few days taking some timeout and spending some quality time with her and her lovely son. Alas, back to reality and my delayed blog post.
A few weeks back I visited the Spring Market down in Digbeth, you can see my review post here.
As well as lots of food stalls, there are also a few crafty stalls on display and this is where I stumbled upon these beauties by Working Clasp.
I love quirky jewellery and there was certainly lots to choose from on this stall, but after lots of deliberation, I went for these two.
They both look really good paired with a white t-shirt or lbd, and are excellent for jazzing up any outfit.
Made out of laser cut plywood and acrylic, these statement pieces come in all different styles and colours.
The design variations are amazing and you can tell a lot of work goes into creating each individual piece. The designer, Rebecca Cowley, is based here in Birmingham, down at the Custard Factory and she started making pieces of jewellery for family and friends before deciding to set up Working Clasp.
Why not check out her website or discover some of Rebecca’s designs at The Library of Birmingham and the Ikon Gallery, amongst others.
And don’t worry, the men aren’t left out here, Rebecca also has a small selection of cufflinks too!
