After reading very mixed reviews about this restaurant on Trip advisor, we were a bit apprehensive about our visit, but we needn’t of worried. Our table wasn’t booked until 7.15 but we arrived a bit early and were shown straight to our table.
After a short wait they came and took our order. I had the Fresh Calamari for starters and then the Seafood for main, and the bf had the Moules Mariniere for starters and the Cod Fillet with Mixed Seafood.
My calamari was perfectly cooked, not overdone at all, and really hot and crispy. The Moules Mariniere were beautiful, the sauce they came with was so full of flavour.
I was a bit wary about my main as it came with brown rice, which I am not a massive fan of, however, the rice was nicely flavoured and the big chunks of flaky fish in the stew was lovely. The Cod Fillet, I was told, was also really tasty.
Of course we had to go for desert, but I really struggled on what to choose from as I liked the look of everything on the menu. In the end I went for the Rhubarb and Coconut Crumble and the bf went for the White Chocolate and Raspberry Creme Brulee. Mine was nice but the Creme Brulee won hands down it was gorgeous!!
I was really impressed with the food and the service at Blue Fin and would not hesitate to recommend it or pay another visit.
