I am definitely noticing a trend on here, its haul’s galore!
Boots is like my heaven! I cannot go in and buy nothing nor can I only go in for what I went in for.
On this particular occasion, I was just browsing with my bestie and ended up with all of this…
None of which I actually needed, however I did have a discount voucher for No7.
So down to what I brought. As we are approaching the summer, I decided to purchase the Soap & Glory ‘Make Yourself Youthful Sunshield Superfluid SPF 50’ – what a mouthful! I had recommended this to my bestie as she was looking for an SPF, as I had heard some good things and also that it was a great (cheaper) alternative to the Kiehls Ultra Light Daily Moisturiser SPF 50 . So having recommended it I thought I had better try it out for myself.
I have used it twice now, and it is super light on the skin, so much that I don’t even notice I am wearing it. I don’t think I will notice much difference to my skin, but it will defiantly be working it’s little socks off to protect my skin from the sun and nasties.
Next up was my No7 voucher purchase, Stay Perfect and Define Eyeshadow Stick in Pink Pearl. I haven’t had this on my eyes yet, but when I tested it in the shop and in my photos, it did not budge from my hand! I had to use an oil based cleanser to scrub it off! This product is also a really good dupe or alternative for the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eye shadow stick, of which I own also!
Another product I have heard good reviews about is the Maybelline Colour Tattoo Cream eyeshadow, which I brought in Pink Gold – I am all about the Rose Gold at the moment! This again, when swatched did not budge from my hand and I can’t wait to try it out for a night out or even for the daytime.
You can see both the Stay Perfect and Define Eyeshadow and the Colour Tattoo swatch below – the picture isn’t great as they are quite light reflective.
Onto my next rose gold purchase, in the form of the Sensationail Nail Polish in Rose Gold Glitter. I have yet to try this out, but I have been nothing but impressed with the colours from the Sensationail range, so I am sure this one will be fab!
Finally, I picked up one of the Revlon Parfumerie Scented nail varnishes in Surf Spray . I own quite a few of these polishes and love the scent that they give off, even with a top coat. I may do a collection post on these soon.
This pic shows a quick swatch, and I mean quick! I did two coats straight after each other, so it is probably a bit more opaque than how it looks in the photo.
As I write this I have also accidentally visited boots again and come out with another little haul, so keep your eyes out for that!
What do you buy when you go into boots?
